The Massey Hotel dates all the back to 1910 and before that went by the name of the Eagle Hotel. So much history packed into this building. It sits right on the corner of Central Ave right above the famous bike shop Phat Tire in the bustling downtown area of Bentonville.
Clark Contractors had this to say about the historic building,
“Hotel Massey, originally constructed in 1910, has been a mainstay in downtown Bentonville for over 100 years. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.”
This is just another example of the many gems that the city of Bentonville has to offer such as the Crystal Bridges Museum and the home of Walmart. The outdoor scene is booming here as well with all of the Oz Trails work happening around the city. Seems like everyday something new is popping up and bringing a new excitement to the area. Downtown Bentonville seems to be the place to be. A small town feel with some of the coolest coffee shops like the Onyx Coffee Lab and upscale restaurants like the Preachers Son.
This morning was super inspiring and fun. The irony was Bentonville had just gotten hit by a crazy snow storm and I had to inch across the ice covered sidewalks for the exterior shots, but I enjoyed the challenge!
The Massey Hotel has now been revitalized into an amazing creative space. Here is a sneak peak inside of the revitalized hotel.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
